Advice From Current Pros- Quit a $100K Job? (long)

My context: 21. Student. Canadian. So take my advice in stride.

Both my parents are self-employed, and I'm looking to go the same route, eventually. They don't have high-paying jobs, but the perks are plentiful. Several of my friends' parents are lawyers that are self-employed. With such a choice, you will have much more freedom with what you can do.

I have no idea as to the drawbacks of my suggestion, but I think that moving in the direction of working for yourself may give you the freedom for which you are searching.
