T4s: Where did I go wrong
I'm in BB with T4s. Read on the raiser is pretty laggy, but he's also pretty new to the table. Also, MP2 posted.
UTG folds, Villain raises, folded to me, I call in BB with T4s.(getting 4:1 here right?) Flop: AT5r I bet, he calls. Turn: 4 I bet, he raises, I re-raise, he re-raises, I call. River: 4 I bet, he raises, I re-raise, he re-raises, I call. Does anyone play this different? |

Re: T4s: Where did I go wrong
I fold this preflop.
the river 3bet is read dependant but against Laggy McLagster it looks good. against decent players I play flop and turn the same as you did, up until I check/call the river UI or bet/call the T or 4. |

Re: T4s: Where did I go wrong
Fold preflop. Check/call the flop. Hard to get away from this turn or river against an overlay LAG player. The river 3-bet might be spewing a little bit since a higher boat seems pretty likely at this point, but not much else you can do but lose a big pot here.

If the poster stayed in and called would this be a call?

Re: T4s: Where did I go wrong
Don't fold preflop. Seriously, getting 4.5-1 you should be calling with almost anything.

Still though, against a LAG you have almost zero folding equity postflop and too often when you hit your hand you'll be behind. It's a bit closer getting 4.5:1 for a call, but with this opponent and the fact that our hand is still garbage I still feel it's a reasonable fold. |
