Default What makes a good cigar?

The other night I went to my friend's house for a BBQ and he suggested that on the way over, I pick up some cigars. So I stop off at a cigar bar by us, go in to pick out a couple of cigars and realize that I have no idea what I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me what to look for in a good cigar?

It's the inner thighs of young cuban females (Dominican inner thighs if you're cheap) if you must know the truth. They roll them on that sacred ground.

Oh, my friend was expecting me to come in with like black and milds or something. The cigars I got were actually very good, but I've never really felt completely clueless about something like that before, but in the cigar bar, I did.

I don't really know what to look for. I usually go to the local cigar lounge, and just buy a couple of random cigars or ask the person working what they'd recommend. These guys just sit around all day and smoke so they usually know what's good and what's not. The first time I asked for a recommendation I left with two cigars that have now become my favorites.

Yeah, when I went in, I asked the guy what he suggested and he was asking me all these questions about whether I wanted mild, full flavor, foreign, domestic, and I just didn't know.

Finding a "good" cigar can be challenging, with that said I recommend Padron to everyone I know, never had a bad experience with them.

It really all depends in what you want in a smoke. I prefer a semi mild cigar, so I look for lighter wraps generally, and the smell gives a lot away too. I used to be a cigar nut, but not so much anymore, so I'm not really up to date with the numbering system that is on them

I had a fairely short cigar with a funky colorful blue like logo on it. So many people had walked by and said how good that cigar smelt, I wish I knew what it was. I would like to order a box of them.
