I think there are less than 20 tables in the back. It seems that 100 would be overkill, especially once the room in Anoka opens (later this year?)

I hadn't heard anything about this. Where are in ANoka is a poker room going up??

At the old Trout Air location (just North of where 35W/35E meet). They're going to put a harness racing track and poker room there.

With Treasure Island opening a poker room soon, as well as Anoka (plus Hinckly having their spread game and St. Croix having NL cash games), Canterbury will lose some cash game players--not to mention there are more tournaments happening in local card rooms, in addition to the new Heartland Poker Tour...(not that CP cares about tourny players...)

I'm glad CP has increasing competition, especially for tournaments.

My understanding is that the track has to be in operation for some period of time before the poker room can open. I seem to remember it was a year or two, but I may be talking out my ass.

I think I read something like that too. Like they have to be open for a year, before they can have a poker room.
