Default Official White Sox vs. Indians Thread

Big series, starting tonight at US Cellular Field. White Sox fans are nervous. We need two out these three games. A sweep would be nice, albeit unlikely. At the very least, I'm looking forward to three playoff-atmosphere games. Hopefully it's not the last "playoff-atmosphere" games we see at the Cell this year.

This game will depend on which Garcia shows up.

don't worry, opposing pitchers could lob the ball to our hitters when millwood is pitching and we wouldn't score more than 3 runs.

Sad but true. The "no run support pitcher" is such an anomoly in MLB. Maybe the Tribe will reverse the Millwood trend tonight. He does have a 1.29 ERA vs. ChiSox this year, so we might not need to score too many.

Everyone in NYC better be worried about the Skankees winning their own games. I don't see the Tribe helping them get in.

why do you think i want the indians to lose? moran.

I still think the yankees beat boston for the division (-1.5 of bos and cle), but i wouldn't mind a little insurance.

As a Boston fan, I really have no idea how I want this series to go. The pessimist in me is rooting for the CWS, but the optimist likes the tribe.
