Re: Belterra Friday Night?
Normally, I would get there in the afternoon, but I am covered up with work for tommorrow so I will most likely go to Caesars, it is closer.

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
I'll be there sometime in the early afternoon. You can always recognize me this time of year in a poker room because of the Cincinnati Reds gear I wear. I'll either be in the NL game or the highest limit game at the time, (More than likely 10-20.).

I was glad to meet you the other night/morning. Sorry I didn't have time to chat.

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
I'm driving down from Columbus to check out the room; probably won't get there til around 8 pm...what kind of wait am I looking at? Can you call ahead to put your name on the list? Highest limit game limit? Thanks.

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
8 is peak time, so you'll probably have a decent wait at that point to get a seat - afaik they don't let you call ahead. On the weekends they almost always have a 15/30 game running - if that doesn't go that at least 10/20.

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
Their No Limit is supposed to have a $400 max buy in but often times, there will be thousands of dollars on the table. Maybe they are winning all that money but a dealer and I were discussing the possibility that people were adding chips to their stack as they went along. I don't know maybe the game is very fishy and you can beat it for that amount.
The 6-12 is sweet when it runs. |

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
I like the 6/12 as well. I usually go down on Saturdays and lately they haven't had it. There's always an interest list but never enough people to open a game.

Hmmm, might have to hit that 6/12 if it gets going tonight.

Re: Belterra Friday Night?
It is not unusual for a 4-8 player to sit by mistake and decide to stay. It is just low enough that people will take a shot if the 4-8 has a list but just high enough that you can win some money.
The multi-chip structure helps make it a loose game. |
