In Massachusetts there are many dry towns not far from Boston.

Very true Kurn, but at least we can buy liquor on Sundays now (in the wet towns anyway). Times, they are a'changin'!

"Who's next ? 2+2 ?"

It's certainly a possibility. I see ads right now as I type this for Absolute Poker, Party Poker, Nutz Poker, and JetSet Poker.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose

Party Poker advertises on CNBC's Squawk Box an early morning financial show.

Ashcroft must go.

[/ QUOTE ]

He is going even if Bush gets elected for a second term. Apparently Bush and Ashcroft don't get along all that well.

That would be partypoker.net, an online site with tutorials on learning how to play poker.

my .02. We have an attorney general who thinks dancing is a sin. Who covered up the exposed breasts of a STATUE! Think about it. The head law officer in the land is "uncomfortable" around a sculpted breast. His new crusade is pornography, a billions of dollars per year industry for adults. He's also spent much time and money imprisoning Tommy Chong for selling bongs on the internet. Forget about the crooks on Wall Street, the Arthur Anderson's, Enron rigging the market for electricity.... These rodent-like ulta right wing bible thumpers are trying to run your life and mine. Gambling, porn, bong hits, this is what America is all about! Without them we're just East Germany. At least a Kerry administration wouldn't outlaw gambling because 'the bible says so'

You guys need to distinguish between stated policy and what will actually happen. The GOP was stung by 3 gubernatorial loses in 1998 over gambling issues (slots/lottery in AL,GA,SC).

We have to talk to our base of voters, but won't implement much of anything of an anti-gambling nature. So relax and vote for me.
