Ping Problems
I'll post here as maybe the internet forum will have some ideas, though I know this is definitely computer technical help. I recently wanted to play CounterStrike again, and my ping/latency is absolutely horrible. This is the same computer I played on flawlessly in Chicago (I'm now in Phoenix), and doing a speed test showed that it downloaded well above the average broadband user. What's the deal here? Thanks in advance. Flame on for posting in the wrong forum.

I could download fast as hell but upload speed was just horrible... I'm talking like 14.4k speeds. 2)Where's the server located at you're trying to play? Farther the server is from you the higher ping you're going to get. Try to find some west coast servers and don't try to play on a server that's located in another country. |
