You know how many hands a day I see that come out KKK or JJJ on a flop. I've dealt 3 or 4 straight and royal flushes the same way, whether it was hand shuffled or machined. So please don't come on here and try to say that someone did something to the cards after you yourself watched them shuffle and cut, and a cut card was put on the button, which prevents bottom dealing. [/ QUOTE ] Your reading comprehension is extremely poor. He's not questioning the intent of the dealer or the staff at the Wynn. You really, really, really need to understand this point as you've replied 3 times in this thread already. He's questioning whether or not the shuffler was actually effective in this hand. There is a 1/x chance that a flop will naturally happen 89Tsss. When it happens immediately after a new deck has been opened, it's extremely more likely that the shuffle was ineffective and large blocks of cards have not been "randomized". Personally I would shrug it off, but I can understand someone wanting to bring this to the attention of the floor.

Ok,
I had to reread the OP several times after your post. I kept seeing: [ QUOTE ] Shuffler finishes the face up deck, dealer turns it around to shuffle again [/ QUOTE ] and took it as the dealer shuffled again, but it appears the dealer just dealt the cards. I retract my previous statements. But I'm sure someone can see why I responded the way I did if the dealer in fact did shuffle the cards.

[/ QUOTE ] The dealer manually shuffled and used the 2nd deck while the initial deck was being reshuffeled face down by the shuffle machine. It's only 1 hand. Not even worth calling the floor for a decision. b

If you were dealt two consecutive cards like 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] maybe you have a point, but all I can see is the floor laughing and Al repeatedly kicking you in the nuts [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Were the cards in your hand or anyone else's hand that you saw also in new deck order?
Was the turn and river the Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (presuming the J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] would be the cards that got killed before the turn and river was dealt)? If so, then I would suspect an inadequate suffle.

I sympathize with your situation. However, I think once the deck is dealt and money has been wagered based on the deal, it is too late to object.
A deck of cards needs to be shuffled approximately 7 times for a true randomization to occur. If I ever saw a casino dealer do a hand-shuffle (where I play it's all auto-shuffled) I would make sure he shuffled 7 times and then accept that the cards are what (and where) they are. If the dealer shuffles fewer than 7 times, I would certainly speak up, but it needs to be before the deal. In any case, this cost you $30? Is that right? Let it go. Life is too short to still be thinking about this.
