This thread is very timely. What's a good spot for us to get a li'l wild at a bachelorette party in NYC? I guess we're looking for clubs. My best friend is getting married there in a few weeks.

I like jukeboxes that have Fugazi and Pixies, but I would accept weird 80s shows as an alternative.

My absolute favorite is Fitzgerald's on 25th and 3rd. It's a neighboorhood bar type place, and since it's down the block from my school, I've been practically living there for the last 3 years or so. Old Town on 18th is also nice to go for a meal or something.

Revival on 15th off of Union Square and King's head on 14th btwn 2nd and 3rd are both good for going with big groups of people.

Nevada Smith's is pretty cool if people like drunken dancing.

For divey bars, Mona's on ave B is pretty cool because you can smoke in the back, and Finerty's on 3rd and 13th is really crappy, but it has a special place in my heart.
