Default deep stacked set hand

I usually only post hands that I butcher, I'm normally very good at extracting. Play this along with me. Maybe it will be very standard, we'll see.

I raise here first in with 95% of time, didn't here cause I didn't want short stacked donkeys going all in and preventing me from playing potential set hand vs other big stack.

Other big stack is an aggro euro, and I should have an image set up where he is about to try to push me off my hand.

Ok consensus is 300+ for the flop. I only went to 240, thinking I like 300-320 better now so I can push the turn.

Anyways he calls, turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot is 532, I have 750 left, what now?

Push the turn anyways and curse yourself out for re-raising too small on the flop.

check and decide.

you aren't bluffing him off anything and he might decide to slowplay a better hand.

incidentally I believe a smoothcall is better than a small 3 bet on the flop because it leaves pot small and leaves a lot behind for this very situation.

Huh? He's more likely to have a made hand on the flop than a draw. And that made hand could easily include a spade. No way I'm giving him a free draw to win a huge pot here!

you think he is more likely to have overpair than something like AQ spades?

Really think he calls with anything besides a flush(or straight) there though?

I think I FPS this one somewhat with smaller raise on the flop, because I wanted to give him the chance to push.

Probably should have just played it more straightforward since we are deep.

I hate checking turn, I think he checks through with his draws, and bets/pushes if he caught up.
