Yeah, that doesn't feel quite right. It's a tough one though, as the matchup is clearly in Anderson's favor. In general, I don't like using matchups as a determining factor unless the players are extremely close in value.

Buffalo's run D is really good, but Miami's isn't terrible either. Statistically it wasn't good because they were always behind last year; but their offense shouldn't be as pathetic this year.
I'd start D. Davis as well.

That's my initial reaction as well -- I'm just a little uneasy about how much of the load he's going to be carrying. From what I'm hearing Chris Brown will be more of a "feature" guy than Ronnie Brown, but his matchup is awful.

I'd probably go with Jordan. Cadillac makes me a bit nervous becuase of the presence of Pittman, and a pretty bad offensive line. I'm not saying he's a bad play, but I may want to give him a couple weeks to establish himself.

[/ QUOTE ] Griese shouldn't be in red. Never bench Manning unless he's not playing. You're in trouble early with your RB's. Bennett isn't playing in week one, and I don't think Davis is either. Bell and Johnson are backups for now -- I would say Barber and Bell, if you have to start two. For WR I would probably go with Porter, Ward and Burress until Jenkins and Taylor establish themselves.

I agree with all of this except that I would start Taylor over Burress, but I think it is close. I'm just scared of any Giants WR right now until they prove they can hit them. And you know Cullpepper will come out throwing and Taylor will be starting.

Have they made an official declaration on Staley and/or Bettis yet? I'm hearing whispers that one or both may be ready. If Staley/Bettis are declared out, I'd go 1,2,4. If there's any ambiguity about the Pittsburgh situation, I go 1,2,3.
