How do you get the poker rate at the Borgata?
Trying to get a room there for a long weekend sometime in August - do you just call and ask? Can you do it online? Is there a limited number of rooms? Are they hard to get on summer weekends? What is the actual rate? How many hours to you have to play?

You can't do it online, you have to call and ask. You have to have already played poker there and have a My Borgata card. There is a limited number of rooms, and ti si difficult to get summer weekend rooms, however if you call well in advance you will have no problems. The rate for Friday and Saturday nights are $125 each night and you must play a minimum of four hours. On all other nights the cost is $59 per night with 4 hours of play and $39 with 8 hours. All prices there do not include tax. The rooms are beautiful.

Yarney, I've probably only played there 5 times in my life, but each was a 10+ hour session at $40-80 or higher. I do have a card. Would I be OK? There's about eight of us from my local game trying to go up there for a weekend in August, and we're trying to get two rooms for the weekend. Probably five of them have never played there before, but I'm guessing we'd log over 150 hours total at a wide range of limits. I guess the answer is going to be to just call and ask.
Anyway, I couldn't find a number to call on their website either - do I just call the main reservations number?
