If you raise 1/2 your stack you have to call any raise, so its better to maximize your FE and push to begin with.

16 BB's isn't too much to push from the SB over a PF raise, and its too akward a stack to get involved otherwise in a raised pot and you will always have odds to call of the rest.

While this may be true, the number of times you are buried (villian has 66+) really hurt your pot equity.

I think a PF push is ok, and I think a fold to the initial raise is a little better given you have time to find (god help me for saying this) "a better spot"
