Default Is Ciaffone\'s book for a beginner?

I tossed this on my Christmas list along with Little Green Book as a book to add to my poker collection after reading HOH1, HOH2, Super System, and unfortunately Play Poker Like the Pros. I've been playing No Limit Hold'em for 5-6 years now and have read these forums pretty extensively since I signed up this summer.

I was looking for a more advanced book to help my NL tournament play and my ring game play.

I read somewhere on here that this is an excellent beginner book.

Am I going to be disappointed? I decided to go with it after hearing good reviews.

Probably should have asked for Theory of Poker or TPFAP instead.

He has written 4 books that I am aware of. None of them deal with mind-reading

Must be the season. Funniest reply yet without being too sarcastic.

Maybe a bit past beginner. Try Ed Miller's book Getting Started in Holdem first, but:

You will not be dissapointed in any of Ciaffone's books. Improve your poker will.
PL & NL Poker was until this year about the only decent book out there on big bet poker other than SS, and I prefer Ciaffone's book of the two.
