Default Blown away with air

This hand had me steaming, but in retrospect was big stack's play reasonable? I din't hesitate to fold - given the situation I put him on a good made hand: flush, straight or JJ - too weak?

No, his play isn't reasonable. One might think that he wanted the bubble to last, but the blinds aren't big enough (and he's not that big). He's just being a moron.

I'd fold too.

It might be in the big stacks interest to keep the bubble alive if he is able to dominate it

With the blinds so small the 2nd/3rd stacks are under no pressure to make any moves, but this does not stop the chip leader taking full advantage. It may be more easier for him to pick up chips now then at 200/400 250/500 etc

I call here almost every time and reassess the river. The bet is so weak and the old "check it down" notion is so so terrible. If you had like 1000 chips behind, it's a fold.

His reward of 300 worth of chips isn't enough to almost go broke against the 2nd biggest stack, imo.

He's not big enough to dominate the other two players (atleast not the 2nd biggest)

No it wasn't reasonable, but let's not forget that you would have hit a 5 outer on the river to beat the small stack anyways, which most times you won't. So he really didn't hurt your equity that much in this situation.

i think you have more than enough chips to make this call, which is easy to say seeing his cards now but not everyone "checks it down"

Yes, I guess I was naive to simply assume he had a (very) good made hand.
