Default Re: $2/$5 PL with $20 button straddle - KK

so, in this hand, i was actually the check-raiser with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. because of the frequency of his raising and the fairly low flop bet, i thought he didn't have much and wanted to steal his $320. after i raised, he said something like, "damn, i can't catch a break against you!" and spiked his kings face up in the muck.

when i saw that it was going to be heads up, i decided that i was going to check-raise pretty much any flop. i've been rethinking the play. i guess it only worked because i had a tight image and was fortunate enough to get the A on the flop.
