Default shure e3cs

so on the recommendation of pretty much everyone in oot I got me some shure e3cs.

they sound great, but they fall out of my ears if I for instance jog 10 feet or jump up and down a couple of times. tried all the sleeves. I must have weird ears or something.

I really hate the ipod earbuds, but they're the only in ear headphones in existence that don't fall out of my ears. wtf?

Personally I can't see spending several hundred dollars for headphones where a careless car door slamming might cut the cable. Maybe my ears are ghetto and can't pick up on the subtleties the fancy pants Shure models offer, but my Sony phones work just fine. And, they don't fall out of my ears, ever.

Sony MDR EX71 - $35 or so.

err, the ultimate ears ones i recommended have replaceable everything, including cables, and sound better than the ex-71s by a pretty wide margin.

Yeah they sound pretty good for the price, you might have to turn the bass up on your mp3 player a little.

I'm not arguing with you or any of the wonderful people on that site. My point is simply that I don't want to spend $100-$250 for a set of mp3 headphones. If I break my Sonys I won't feel too bad about replacing them. If I really want to listen to music the way it was meant to sound I'll use the speakers of my home stereo.
