I get 3-bet on the river on bluff
Hand is probably not that interesting except it's the first time I can remember getting 3-bet on the river on a total bluff. My guess, though, is that most people here would have been raising earlier than I did.
This hand occurred a few sessions ago, so I don't have a detailed read. But I know that his stats over 60 hands showed him to be LP. My image was presumably relatively TAGish. Absolute 5/10. Villain limps in utg+1. Hero raises at CO with KcQs. All fold to the villain, who calls. Flop: Kd7h3c rainbow. Villain bets, hero calls. Turn: 6c. Villain bets, hero calls. River. 6h. Villain bets, hero raises. Villain 3-bets. Hero calls. Villain shows JhQh. |

Re: I get 3-bet on the river on bluff
Sometimes I play these hands like you, sometimes I raise the flop or turn. I tend to play it like you against opponents who know how to fold or are bluff happy, but LPP opponents I tend to just raise earlier, since they'll call me down, and they may stop putting bets in. That's a pretty tough call to make on the end, but I think you have to make it the way you played the hand. Villain can't think you have a 6, so he may be 3betting with a number of hands you beat, namely weaker K's, often enough to call. In this case, it was a whacked bluff, so you make a note and keep taking his money .
