Yeah, I think this is fine with your backdoor draw. Cartman just made a post about folding overs when you are donked, saying that folding the flop > folding the turn > raising in most cases.

Simply: yes

Folding the flop is okay too. After he's done this to you a couple of times it's time to start playing back at him, but against an unknown, peel one or drop on the flop and go no further unless you hit. This is all the easier with this drawless board and another player in the pot.

Guy.

I like the flop peel.
I like the turn fold.

Nice hand.

Hmm,
I'm sure there's a reason for skipping the standard iso-flop raise, check turn for free card, and reevaluate on the river. I'll save my calls in this spot for guys I have reads on as being regular donk bettors, or bet/3bettor aggros.

The way you played it, turn fold is good.

Wow, my thoughts are different. Does anyone else raise here or did I just find a massive leak? And FWIW I'd probably muck this flop without the backdoor draw since he's likely betting this with some pair.

i'd like the flop call a lot more if you were closing the action. I think it's probably fine though. I hate raising flop.

I really suspect a flop fold is correct. If I were playing the hand, I would have called here, too, without giving it enough thought.

I like this play a lot more if you have some chance of being ahead. There are almost no draws on this board, so almost always the dude who donks has at least a pair.
