You missed a standard preflop raise.

Given the complete, I check-call rather than check-raise. Overcards are a very weak draw on a coordinated board like this, and with two callers already after the bettor you're not thinning the field with this raise.

Given the flop, the pot's bloated enough that you're forced to call one on the turn.

I'm tempted to say you should lead the river, but I'm not sure if I'm being swayed by the resulting action.

Based on the posts you've been, umm, posting, I don't think you're quite ready for 2/4 yet. Just an observation.

1) You completed instead of raised. !?!?!?!?!?!?!

2) You checkraised overcards on the flop. !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

1. I thought this was the exact situation in HEPFAP where we shouldn't be raising AQo.

2. Yeah, I was kinda lost as to what I should do on the flop. I figured it was worth a call, but I thought the raise might buy me a few over card outs. I rarely see flops with this many people.

3. As for playing 2/4, I agree I'm probably not nearly as good as some of the 2+2ers here who are still playing .5/1, but I feel like I can hold my own, and also I was following some of the fishies on my buddy list who are playing 2/4

I would complete AJo here, but not AQo. Your hand is too much better than theirs to not push the edge IMHO.

You're forgiven. When I get up there in a month or so I'll be right up there with you.

That said, if you get down to like $600, move down. If it happens.

Yeah, clearing the pokeracenow and bonusmay, i was about break even after the bonus (meaning I was down about 100 BB overall). I gave it another shot after clearing the stars and golden tiger bonuses at .5/1 and 1/2, and I seem to be doing well...I have about 300 raked hands and am up $250, I've been running well (not too many runner runner bad beats), but I feel like I'm playing better too (reads, spotting bluffs, etc).
