Default Any UKers know more about this?

Legality of Civil Ceremony for Charles Called Into Question

Anybody know any more info? It sounds like it could be a pretty interesting debate.

Anyone from our former colony ( ) have any insights?

The existance of such a law would not surprise me.

It is still against the law to have out of wedlock relations with the Queen or the Princess of Wales. The penalty of death available for this crime was not applied to the individuals who broke this law in the 1990s.

So just because a law exists doesn't mean much. Plus Parliament can amend the law at any time anyway.

That's the first thing you've posted here that I agree with. If there is a more useless anachronism than the British Royalty, I can't think what it might be.
