Ugh, this sounds like the end of the line for NO. At least earthquakes just happen, without all the buildup.

Here's some New Orleans webcams; it'll be interesting how long they last and what they show.

Sheperd Smith of Fox News is on Bourbon Street and I guess people aren't letting the hurricane dampen their fun. Partying, drinking, and poker are going strong!

as I am writing this Sheperd aks a guy, "Why are you still here?"
guys response, "None of your f***ing business!" excpet their was no censorship over the air, went on unbleeped. Gotta love live TV and Bourbon street!

Looks like its veering to the left. Probably not going to be a direct hit. Isn't the wort part of a hurricane right next to the eye?

Good news, but not good enough...great news would be if the winds dropped below 140mph or so, which probably won't happen... 165mph vs 175mph is a disaster either way...
