Default What do you do with books after you read them?

I have a buncha books I've either already read, haven't read but won't read, or have already read and will never read again sitting around and taking up space. Do you people resell them on Amazon.com or something after you've read them or do you load up shelves and shelves with 'em?

I've got my copy of Atlas Shrugged here which cost me $40 and I'll never read again, but I can't seem to get myself to sell it. lol

i usually shelve hardbacks and non fiction, but just give paperbacks to the library or friends.

its not worth it to sell used books on amazon unless they are reference/textbooks. you don't get enough money for them.

I return them to the library. I have a great public library system where I live and using the hell out of it makes me feel better about paying taxes.

If it's something I'm not going to read again, it goes to Goodwill, and I take a deduction.

Keep them. They make me look smart, although I should be way smarter than I am if I had really read all of them (esp. the chess and p***r books.)

I give most paperbacks to goodwill. Hardcover fiction I trade in at half-price books. I keep most of my hardcover non-fiction.
