Thank you random HU guy!
5/10 HU match -- guy is generally very passive/tricky, allowing me to see lots of turns/rivers for free because he's setting up checkraises (bluffs and not). I'm doing a great job adjusting, not to mention showing him my nuts.
What's great is that he's got the whole "raise or fold" thing down completely wrong, because when he gets into raising wars, he REALLY goes to war . . . with hands that just don't cut the mustard. example: He raises on the button, I call with Q9o. Flop: T83r I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I call. Turn: J (whee!!) I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I 4-bet, he 5-bets, I 6-bet, he calls. River: Blank I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he 4-bets, I 5-bet, he caps, I call. His KK is, surprisingly, not good. Thank you, random HU guy that bled off over 80BB last night! Another priceless hand.
This was within our first three hands of the night. This was when I knew I might have stumbled onto a gold mine, that all I had to do was sit back, wait for a great hand, and then jam jam jam away hoping he had a good piece.
He raises on the button, I call with J8o. Flop is something like KK7. I decide I'm going to put him to the test, and let loose my inner LAG. I bet, he raises, I reraise, it ends up 5-betted or capped. Turn is a 3. I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he 4-bets, I go "CRAP he actually lucked out here . . . " and for some reason just call. Because hey, I've got odds or something, right? River is a 8. Eh, could be worse. I check, he bets, I call. Surprisingly, his Q9o is not good. And I laugh, and laugh, and laugh.

Seriously, this hand set up the rest of the night. Every other raising war I got into, he remembered this hand and pumped it, allowing me to crush him like a little bug every time I got a strong two pair or set or straight or flush. Idiot was raising the river on me with bottom straight when I had the nut flush. This hand alone, bad. This hand as a setup against this particular player, f'ing amazingly useful. I'm going to have to go insane early on in my other HU matches. This hand . . . sure, I sucked out. Because I did it against Q-high, not feeling overly luckboxish.

Unfortunately my gf nagged me to walk the damn dog (he was 2-3 hours overdue) and I had to get up from the table, else I could have broken him for his last couple hundred bucks . . . and then maybe goaded him into a reload.
