Your nick is still up next to the initial call, FYI.

This hand has some possibility, so seeing a cheap flop doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me. I am an Omaha noob, so take the following commentary with an appropriately sized grain of salt:

I might try firing the pot on the flop, hoping to take it down right there. I would be prepared to dump to a pot sized-raise, given the lack of redraws.

As played, I am not sure if firing at the pot on the turn is that great, as there are very, very few cards you would like to see on the river should someone call.

This hand is definitely worth a call preflop, as long as you know how to handle middle/bottom set post-flop out of position. For a beginner, I don't think you lose much by folding, since you basically have JJxx.

As for the post flop play, I like check-fold to pot bet on the flop, but since nobody showed any interest on the flop, I'd fire out a bet on the turn hoping to take it down. If you get called, you're on your own for the river play.

I'd bet the pot on the flop and fold to a decent size raise. You want people with 65xx or T6xx or non-nut flush draw to fold. But if you give them a free card, they could hit a straight or flush and assume their hand is good. If your pot bet gets called, I'm giving up on it unless the turn pairs the board or is a non-heart 2, 3, A, or K.
