I cleared this bonus in september, with no difficulties. Then it was 10x and you only had 3 days to clear it. The max limit deposit was $100, requiring 1000 raked hands. Here's my PT statistics for those days:

MyUserName PTY NL $25 (6 max)
sessions 38.0000
$won 118.1500
hands 1544.0000
hours 19.2333
BB/100 15.3044
VP$IP 22.6684
PFR% 2.5259
W$SD 53.9130

As seen, I played at lowest level, NL 6 max. I chose primarily tight tables, average pot between $3 and $4. That's because I think it's easier playing against tighter players. Notice that 1000 raked hands did compare to about 1500 hands, so for me, 6000 raked hands would require 9000 hands. 1500 hands took about 20 hours to play and since I was 3-tabling, about 7 real time hours. That means that 9000 hands will take about 120 h, and if 3-tabling, 40 h. To clear it in 10 days would thus take me 4 hours a day.

Well, it would be possible, the question is how the split has affected the type of players playing. I'm not a regular player, but was playing some evenings recently at Empire, and didn't notice too much of a difference, albeit spotting more Europeans and less Americans.

But now it's 20x, so the offer is less attractive. Don't now how to do, I actually withdraw recently from Empire and was surprised getting an email from them with this offer.

Why insult? Getting paid $300 (tax free for Swedish players if site (Gibraltar) operated from within EU) for one working week (40 h), is not that bad. Well, I probably was just lucky earlier, can as well lose it now. Don't have enough statistics on my own play to tell.

Let's see, a month's job would bring 4 times $300 then, that's $1200 a month, which is about half a normal monthly pay for a regular (lousy paid) job...well, maybe it's an insult after all

It's not an insult so much as just not very competitive. There are many sites offering better reload bonuses at the moment, so it's just not worth doing a 20X when you could do a 10X at say Bodog or Absolute.

Unless of course you love playing Empire, then it's OK for you. But its always better to clear $600 in bonus rather than $300 for the same amount of raked hands in my opinion.

The games should be even tighter than before because some will try to do this offer.

The question is how to change your game to take advantage of this for profit rather than just bonus then it might be worth it.

Well, that's beating me you're talking about. And I know exactly how someone should play to beat me. Should I tell?

This bonus is an excellent deal for many ppl, dont underestimate the # of high volume smaller stakes players.
