Caesar's Indiana anyone?

I'll be heading up next weekend from Tunica to work the tourney. Anything fun to do outside the casino? I'll be driving so I'll have transportation. Other casinos with poker nearby? I have no idea about the area.

There are two other casinos with poker, (technically 3 but Grand Victoria doesn't really count)Belterra has 12 tables and is a pretty good place to play poker it is almost two hours away from Caesar's IN. Casino Aztar is in Evansville, IN about the same travel time, maybe a bit longer. I haven't been for almost a year but it probably is still the same. 5-10, 10-20 and a NL very smokey one poster here refers to it as Casino Ashtray.

I will go with you whenever you are ready. There is a decent new movie theater in New Albany. Museums and an IMAX theater in Louisville and tons of resturants. Imax is playing a show about Australia that looks pretty good.

I'm buying your dinner one night or lunch whatever works with your schedule.

No poker closer than 2 hours? Without any days off I can't see 4 hours of driving to play a little poker. The laptop and Ultimatebet are my new friends it seems. I have to argue with you about the dinner. I'm buying!

If you want, we'll go to Bravos. It's an Italian restaurant but they have a New york Strip that will hold its own with any steak in Louisville. Louisville has a Morton's and a Ruth Chris but for under $20 bravo's strip rules. $20 won't get you a glass of water at the other two.

I haven't been up in that region for awhile...but I can't imagine it would take you 2 hours to get from Caesar's-Ind to Belterra.

I would think you could make it in less than an hour.

Am I hallucinating on this one?

Belterra is about half-way between Cincy and Louisville (Caesar's Indiana) I thought.
It's about 2 hours from Cincy to Louisville.
Therefore it should be much less from Louisville to Belterra.

Map point puts it a 77 miles but you can'y make very good time because you drive along the river for quite a long time.

You're right....it does look like a lot of backroads and turns once you get off the interstate.
