That's not what I mean though. I mean getting in, getting your crap done, and staying till the end of the day... or getting in, screwing around, getting some crap done, screwing around some more, finishing your crap and then screwing around the rest of the day.

Or worse, getting in, screwing around, doing half your crap, screwing around some more and finishing the crap the next day.

OK. By "getting my crap done" means, screwing off.
I come in, screw off, work for an hour, screw off some more and then say, "Hey, there's no way I'm staying here for 2-3 more hours. It's not like I'll get any work done." and then leave.

I'm sure I am... friends of mine do the same thing and are proud of it. I'm not.

It feels like stealing sometimes; however, it also feels like being stolen from the times I've worked extra hours with no overtime benefits.

It feels like I make too much money given my age (23) to be screwing around on the job; however, it also feels like I'm not making enough because everyone tells me I'm not... and I get no benefits (except for vacation & sick pay).

I've assumed the responsibilities of 3-4 people who have quit or have been fired with no increase in pay, and I know I won't get one because "there's no money for that."

I dunno... sometimes I feel like the parasite and other times I feel like the host.

Oh [censored], the boss came into work today.

That's the first time in like...... a week.

Wait nevermind... he left to go do errands.
