nice call by gracz.

why no flop continuation bet? it musta looked fishy to him with the flop check and the turn overbet all in -- of course i wasnt there but thats what i got from the coverage.

I think you came off pretty well, actually. Little bit of Farha or something.

Seemed like a good ride. Have you posted your thoughts on your KJ hand? Obviously you figured you could push him off a hand like AT (???) -- did you just put him on a weak ace or worse?

The look on Gracz' face was pretty obvious that he smelled it right away. Still quite a call.

Nice run Shane.

A continuation bet on the flop probably would have been the way to win the hand, but I made a mistake. I made the push because I really didn't think he could call with ace-high (and didn't sense he was much stronger than that) given the stack-sizes. I'm pretty sure the blinds were 6K/12K at the time, putting about 80K in the pot. I had about 120K behind and I think Gracz had about 170K. Even if he reads me for a bluff, most of the hands I'll be bluffing with will notch AT. It's also possible I have a tell. In any case, I'll give him credit for making a great call, and I saw some interesting similiraties between it and the 22 call he made vs Law. Also, I'm 80% sure that the blown-kiss they showed in that hand was spliced in from a different hand, where I blew a kiss at CT Law.

Other thoughts on the show: I think ESPN deserves credit for doing the best with the material and the time that they can. And for bringing in Oliver Stone to produce the Pham segment. They obviously don't paint a complete picture (notice how Pham mysteriously went from chip-leader to short-stack over commercial break) but they do a good job with many of the elements of that picture.

Was fun to watch in any case, and Norman Chad's quip upon Pasquale Perrault's exit was kind of hilarious. I was wondering where PP had been the whole broadcast.
