Default Finding a game home - middle of nowhere IL

Hi all-

I don't generally find myself in this forum, but here goes. If this has been covered already somewhere feel free to link or just berate me for not using the search

So I travel a lot for work, and I've found myself in Bloomington, IL for the next 2 months. I like playing online and all but I would enjoy a home game somewhere if one is available.

So the purpose of this post is 2 fold:

1) Does anyone know where I can get a game in central IL (peoria, bloomington, springfield, etc)

2) What are the best ways to find a game when you don't really know anyone else in this town except for coworkers (exhausted this option).

Thanks for any and all replies.

KoW

P.S. Other info that might be helpful: There's a decent sized university in this town (IL State). FWIW I prefer NL cash games.

Agree with that. Watch out for some of them though, local places have been policing some of these listing sites. I have an email address for a guy though if your interested its in Mansfield, IL its a good game old guys and young guys at a VFW on saturdays. They have 50 dollar tourney then side games afterwords. I think its 55 or 60 bucks to enter the tourney with food included. Not to far from you though maybe like 30 minutes at most. PM ME
