Preflop: I instantly felt this was AA-TT, AK, AQ. The vast overbet threw me off. In a $22 or a $33, I would re-raise to 300, and put my stack in as soon as possible, but that's because I expected to see hands like KQ and AJ a lot in a $22 or a $33. I thought I could take a flop with this hand, and play accordingly.

Flop: T9T, not too bad. I'm ahead of AK, AQ and JJ. He makes a sizeable bet, and I call, since if he has AK or AQ or JJ, I want him to keep bluffing at it. Way ahead/way behind situation here, right?

Turn: BLEH, so I'm ahead of exactly AK and AQ, and NOTHING else. He bets 1/2 pot, which seems milking (not so much probe bet since this is the turn). I call because I've picked up an open-ended draw as well.

River: An ace. Now I'm ahead of nothing, and am chopping with another improbable QQ. I fold.

I think that if I had just re-raised preflop, I wouldn't have gotten into such a sticky situation postflop.

Thoughts?
