i always though the $1k was a ridiculous amount of extra spending money. i'm sure the european poker sites would include extra money for airfare etc. (like betfair) so why didn't you qualify there?

Not only do they give you 1k, but they give you free hotel accomodations as well, which is worth a little over $1,000 too.

How much spending money do you expect? Remember, the more spending money they give, the more entrants they need in the satellite to build the prize pool, which makes it that much harder to win a seat. I think their current packages are as close to perfect as you can get.

i dont think you complaining about ONLY getting 1k of spending money in addition to all the other things you are getting and people ridiculing your complaints qualifies them as idiots. I dont understand what you were expecting, they provide a free hotel and 1k spending money, that should be enough that if you spend what you normally would spend for that week you wouldnt really be down much, and since it is somewhat of a "vacation" this is to be expected. i would be delighted if i got 1k in addition to my entry.
