Default PokerStars WSOP packages: NOT GOOD ENOUGH !

Apparently PokerStars is the only online site (at least as far as I know) that hasn't realized yet that 1000$ "spending" money (as they like to call it, but it is suposed to be used to pay for your airfare to Vegas) is just not enough nowadays.

Maybe if you live in the USA or around there, but from Europe (and I don't even mention other "far away" countries), especially if you win one of the last packages and have to buy a plane ticket in the last minute, it is inmpossible to find a flight that cheap. With all the fuzz about thinking about europeans (yes, when it's about creating extra tourneys so they can earn some rake, the will is present) perhaps it would be time to wake up to reality!

Mr. Lee? Any comments or explanations about the ridicolous "spending money" amount?
And even better, an announcement that PS will consider inflation in the real world instead of spending all its time thinking about how they can get more publicity than Party?
Thank you!

William

Should have qualified with Betfair - $2000 dollars actual spending money, plus 9 nights at the Rio (not Treasure Island ) and travel expenses paid from anywhere in the world.

This money isn't a gift, it comes directly out of the prize pool. $1000 is way more than 90% of the winners need to get to Vegas.

They don't advertise it as "all expenses" paid. What's the problem? $1,000 will get you quite a bit in Vegas.

The 1 grand of spending money is obviously intended to be spent in Crazy Horse 2, not on airfare.

The WSOP package I won, didnt include spending money. $1k would be sweet.

If you dont like it, dont play for the package.
