Re: Island Poker?
Don't know anything about them but I think I found a glitch in their bonus promotion rules. It supposed to be a 20% bonus (30% if you use Neteller) with a max bonus of $120. So you would need a $400 deposit via Neteller to max the bonus.
After going to their promotions page and then clicking on the bonus rules link, you see: # IslandPoker.com players will be awarded a 20% bonus, with any other method other than NETeller on their first deposit of a minimum $25.00. Maximum bonus amount is $120. # IslandPoker.com players will be awarded a 30% bonus, with NETeller on their first deposit of a minimum $25.00. Maximum deposit bonus amount is $1000.00. Anyone got $3000 sitting around? |

Re: Island Poker?
6 POP (Player Action Points) per bonus $.
Just asked one of their online support folks for clarification - only earned on hands you win: Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with 'Adrian' Adrian: Welcome to Live Help my name is Adrian, How may I help you? David: Regarding the deposit bonus -- what are POP points and how do you earn them? Adrian: POP stands for Player Option Points. POP is earned by winning hands in our real money ring games. Players earn 1 POP point for each 10 cents of rake. David: is it 1 point per hand, 1 point per raked hand, depends on how much money you contribute, etc? Adrian: You earn 1 POP point for every 10 cents of rake that is collected during a winning hand at a real money ring game. David: so you only earn POP points for the hands you win? Not a share of any raked hands you are dealt into? Adrian: That is correct, POP is only earned when you win a hand at a real money ring game. David: ok, thank you Adrian: You're welcome. |

Re: Island Poker?
They are a dirty spammer. I once received 12 emails from them in one night. They claim 45,000+ players playing which is over 100 times the actual number at this moment and Party's 24 hour peak is less then half this #. Infopowa News also learned they are related to Windows Casino. As a matter of fact if you go to Windows Casino website and sign up for poker it takes you there. Windows Casino is rogued at Casinomeister. They are in the same category as Casino Bar, Destination Poker, Slots Alley, Black Widow and other well known sleazy casinos.
As far as their bonus it is the same as Tiger Gaming. You must win pots to work it off and when I did the Tiger Gaming 100% match (same network and bonus system) it took nearly 16 raked hands per $1 at 2/4. Now if you are a call station you might clear this 3 times faster then that. If you really want to play on this network find a more reputable room. |
