Default Too soon to make this move and a question.

Sng at Stars blinds are 75/150
Late mp limps and it’s folded to me on the button. I have T1000 and As Jc and move in. I figured with T375 in the pot that it was worth moving in AJ. Sadly, the idiot small blind called me with 44 and I got no helped and was busted out. Does anyone else make this move here? I’m also a little confused on one thing about trnys and that is at what point is the blind % of your stack when you move in with any hand? Is it 10% or what?

I make this move every day and twice on sunday. You are getting shortstacked, you have what figured to be the best hand (I assume you are not full-tabled at this point). You will take the blinds the majority of the time here.

If a reasonable raise would make you put in over 1/3 of your stack (as it would here), you are almost always better off just pushing. If your standard raise is 3-4x the BB, then if you anything less than 10x the BB you may as well push.
