Default Turn gives me 3 pair, river gives me 4 pair vs LAG

I was completely lost on the turn on this hand.

http://www.pokerhand.org/index.php?p...mp;hand=199616

Villain (pokerfactor) raises something like 40% of his hands preflop and almost always follows up with a pot sized bet. He will, however, let go of a hand when he is obviously beaten.

I smoothcalled preflop because I felt that I had a good multiway hand.

I jammed the flop with the nut low and 2 pair.

The turn flummoxed me as it made a wheel possible, so I weenied out and checked.

When the river gave me 4 pair, I was completely lost and almost let the hand go, but I had a gut feeling that Villain was FOS due to his previous play and my read on him.

In the future, what do I do here? Should I have jammed the turn against this LAG? How should I play this versus a tighter player?

Drew,

Pokerfactor is a complete and total maniac, he could be playing any 4. Calling him down with 5th nut low and Ace high for high can be profitable.

I can't generalize about 4 pair, although when I get it I feel like I deserve some part of the pot on principle!

BadBeatPhil was playing that way for fun just last night, and he cleaned house. I asked him if he was learning from Wintermute, and he said he is working on it. He is my new hero, although he rivered a gotshot on me to take my stack the bastid.
