I think andaquarter flopped the flush here. By check/calling the flop I think he has some type of draw or a monster. When the turn comes, he leads for an awfully small bet. The turn brought a 1-card straight draw, and if he hit it, this is an extremely weird bet. You'd think he'd want to protect his hand against the flush draw. I really see this bet as a flopped flush (probably nut) trying to squeeze value from the straight or another decent hand.

Either way, I don't think you are good here, and the king high flush draw isnt THAT strong. Also, the other player in the hand certainly does not help your cause.

That flop bet is no good. It will not accomplish anything. I'd probably take a free card; if you wanted to try to take the pot now, you might have to shove it in given stack sizes.
I think you're in trouble on this turn. It seems highly unlikely you can win the hand-- your best case scenario is 9 outs to the winner and that is almost certainly not the case.

I'm willing to keep this as small as possible. It may NOT be right and it may be weak/tight, something I have almost shed, but I check the flop and then only call a small turn bet. If he bets the turn semi big I'm gone. Too much scary stuff when you are about 20% to win the hand on the turn.

preflop
ep minraiser, i want all his money in preflop and i'm also trying to isolate by reraising to 8k.
--The BB cold call-sends off a few bells, but i can't give him all the credit in the world so i'm thinkin 99-AA, AK, AQ and possibly a little wider.

ep calls as expected.

pot is at 24500
everyone checks to me? 2 overs w/ the second nut flush draw, i put a bet out of 5k, i want the rest of EP in there and the BB to go away- i'm not sure if i really like this bet- but it also gave me a little info as to how strong bb was if he check/ called.

Turn
Brick hits, and all of a sudden BB bets out at me for another large bet? i ran it through my mind and thought of the check/call---bet line that i've read about here for drawing to flushes to confuse a raiser w/ position and draw cheaper and finally decided that either that was what i was facing- to the nuts, or a big pair

not to mention a flopped flush- but i figured w/ a non nut he'd be playing it a little faster.

so i folded.

meh results

folded the turn.

BB had AK w/ the A of spades
ep had QQ
i would have lost the freeroll

i'm still not really happy w/ my flop bet- BUT it did give me an idea of how strong the BB was and allowed me to get away on the turn...
