"this guy donates about 50k per year to the game . . . he thinks I'm lucky and win all the time."

This guy's twin brother was in my game last week and, as I was stacking up a pot, he complained to his neighbor that whenever he's in the game, I'm lucky.

His neighbor said "We're all lucky whenever you're in the game."

What I dislike about slowrollers is that they're deliberately trying to add insult to injury. It's just not a nice way to treat another person. So I never do it back. Just take your share of the 50K and enjoy it.

I personally get offended and take it for what it is - a sign of disrespect.

The last time it happened to me a few months ago I said "You fuckn slowrolling me motherf***""?..... No man, no, I was just uh uh uh.."

I'm going to try and stop doing that now. You're right.

Slowrolling is bogus, i only slow roll my good friends cause it's funny. I don't get that angry when people slow roll me cause I have a good sense of humor and don't get too emotional (i used to). But to the average person It can be quite disturbing to the point that it makes someone leave. If you slow roll this guy I wouldn't be suprised if he just doesn't play with you anymore, i've seen it happen.

Since losing players like this guy aren't earning money at the table, a lot of them need another form of motivation for playing.

Some guys get satisfaction from playing super tricky and occasionally pulling off succesful crazy plays, while others like to get under their opponents skin and piss them off, e.g. slowrollers.

You handled it right, your attitude is right. You take away this from the guy, you might take away his reason to play at all. After all, he's paying for the privelage to act like a douche.
