[ QUOTE ]
I was down at The Grand on Saturday and played some 4-8. I was pleasantly surprised with about everything. I realize there isn't near the attraction for this tourney as there seems to be for the WPO but everything went so smooth. It really seemed like the staff had control.

Plus I left winner. Maybe that was it.

I am sure this is because there are people there that have actually worked in a professionally managed poker room rather than just the normal Grand staff.

A chiprunner in AC? Is that a service for the high rollers or is there a casino out here that uses chiprunners altogether? I play baby no limit and have never encoutnered a runner. On second thought, I have never even seen one. Paint me curious.

Taj has chip runners on the high side on most weekends. It's just a guy with a push cart that you can buy racks of chips from.

When I used to play at foxwoods, they had chip runners, but then at some point they got rid of them and you had to go to the cage to get chips. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know what their policy is now.

Default Chiprunners

We have chip runners at Horseshoe all the time. If the runner is busy the floor will get your chips for you. The limits you play doesn't matter.

It's the same way at The Grand. The floop has always just asked me what I want in chips. I've never even had to ask for a chip runner.
