Default AK missed flop, hit turn on mono board

MP2 has only been at the table a short time. PT got him as a 50/5 loosie with only 30 hands or so. I've seen him mostly do a lot of limping and calling thusfar.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed)converter

What's the play?

Looks to me like your opponent has AK as well. Atleast one of his cards is a diamond. I think you're in one of those hands where you can either split or lose a big pot. Logically speaking, there isn't anything legit that you are ahead of. It's possible your opponent hit a set on the flop as well. You're getting like 5 to 1 on your money when he pushes, but I really can't see anything you're ahead of.

Is this uninteresting? obvious fold? or obvious call being offered the current price?

Or none of the above?

if he is a loosy, why do you bet the flop?

cause i probably have the best against his wide preflop ranges and if he doesn't have a diamond (Edit: or a strong hand) it's hard for him to call.

Do you go into check/fold mode here?

you probably have the best hand but you can't stand up to any aggression at all. i don't go in to check/fold mode because I have position and I want to use it. I don't mind giving a free card as I don't have much to hold up with.
a diamond helps me just as much as it helps him given his hand range.

the way it played out, I think turn is easy fold.
