Hand 1 is fine, although I'd stop betting if he raised me on the turn after we capped the flop (hypothetically, of course, since he called down). Hand 2, I don't think you're getting much value from betting against three opponents on a 4 straight board with an open pair on the board. I'd be happy to take the free showdown and hope that someone doesn't have the straight or a 3.

Oh, and don't post results.

Hand 2 I think I can check behind on the river against 3 opponents w/a 4 straight on board.

Hand 1 is well played. I like the flop cap against 3 players.

I would probably play them both the same. Given these lines I think you're only losing to the sucker straight, and they won't raise you.

hand 2 i would never ever bet the river.... i wouldn't even bet the turn. Terrible

you dont think we are drawing near dead here more than 1/3 of the time vs. 3 opponents (including two blinds) on the turn?

Then bet and fold to a c/r. No reason to think anyone has a 2 just yet. Once they all called I might check through the river, depends on what I thought of my opponents.

At these levels... they can have anything. I bet the turn with the intention of fold to a raise... then I got a bit puzzled when the all checked and I thought for a second... Yes, the 3 gives me 2 pairs... I might win this... I got to valuebet... But I should have known that they were on a draw. But the passivness of these fishes twisted my thoughts [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
