Default A Basic Situation

This seemed straightforward, but I want to make sure.

Button is tight/aggressive, a little too tight, doesn't raise much, straightforward post flop. SB is unknown.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Monty is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Monty calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Monty raises, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Monty raises, SB calls.

River: (9 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Monty bets

Final Pot: 11 BB

If villain is open raising here on the button I feel calling AT here is easy. Players that don't raise enough steal, too. In fact, if the SB isn't in this hand already I'm inclined to 3bet pf.

Postflop, if the villain is straightforward then he's giving you no real indication you're beat as he plays a weaker ace the same way, so I play it the same.

Of course I'm talking about 3-betting. Folding is atricious.

Anybody else 3-bet this pre-flop after the SB calls?

If SB doesn't call I'm definitely 3-betting. If SB is loose though and over-defends then I 3-bet as well. Otherwise I just call.

Why did you raise the turn instead of the river?

Because I put him on a worse A and therefore I'm not worried about him getting away from a weaker hand. I'm pretty sure he'll call and call a bet on the river, too.
