Default Runnin\' down a dream

SB is very LAG preflop (45/28) but pretty awful postflop. He's called all-in for 150BB with nothing but TP2K (after raising QJo out of position and getting a J-high flop) as well as making several severe underbets in big pots with hands that need protecting. BB is equally bad and has gone bust twice (for $100 each time) with 2nd pair no kicker in raised pots. There is a possibility somebody has a diamond draw (probably BB) but I am almost positive I will get paid if I hit my 6-outer and might even get paid for the two diamond straight cards in the side pot. Is this solid reasoning or hopeless self-delusion?

Well, as long as your read is correct about stacking if you hit, then this is a must call on the turn ($50 to win $500 looks g00t to me).

BTW -- You are a luckbox

Screw you; I got 2-outed 3 times today and 3 outed twice (in 1K hands). Even with this pot, I ended the day down about a buyin.

If I'm playing that hand preflop I'm raising it to add to my hand range. Other than that the poster that said that this is just a math problem is right. It doesn't look like you're going to get any folds, so you played it the cheapest you could. Pretty standard imo.

I'm on a 6 buy-in downswing so any win looks good to me. Lost three times AA all-in preflop and twice set-over-set in last 3k hands

Check your sarcasm detector (or maybe I should check mine.)You've read enough of my posts to know I was teasing you. (Especially since I basically agreed with your decision to call.)

Don't take it personally; I'm just fed up with running really bad for a really long time. Even when I'm not running bad, I'm not crushing the game so this extended run of suckage is killing me.

No worries. I just wanted to confirm I did not add any quarters to your tilt-o-meter
