Default is he right and why?

30+3 party. Playing someone heads up that is in the top 75 in points on leaderboard.

Blinds are 300/600 I have 4440 and villian has 3560

Have KQ suited in BB

Villian raises to 1200
I push
villian calls

Villian showsdown 2/4 offsuit and makes a boat

Respecting his position on the leaderboard, I am curious to the play. So I ask him why he would showdown that hand after my push. He said that I made the improper play by reraising him pf with a king.

Was he right and why?

2 live cards possibility and 30% of his chip stack into pot already is all I can come up with.

Villain's either jerking you around or has made the leaderboard solely on the fact that he plays a lot. I play it the same way as you.

He played the hand like a moron, and his comments confirm that he sucks.

When heads up at 300/600 blinds, KQ is the nuts.

If he puts you on any two here, how many hands do you think he is ahead of? No he is not right.

Later,

Rick

He needs to buy lottery tickets. Play it like you did 100% of the time and deal with the suckouts (like he did) because you are a BIG favorite.

He should have pushed, you should have called.
He raised, you pushed, thats fine and even better for you.
I dont think he can fold after raising, because he has invested so much of his stack.

I agree that villain needs to push often in this hand, but with 6BB left (and hero having about 7.5), I would probably fold 32o here. Pushing isn't terrible though.

He (villian) got caught with his hands in the cookie jar and lucked out. After the push he should have tucked tail and ran (as you suggest) - he "has to" get a better hand the next deal than 42o. If I could I"d fold and show, then push even if I was delt 32o the next hand.

But, I'm psycho.
