Hmmm, so you're saying that I need to uninstall XP as well?

You weren't that clear, or I didn't fully understand you. My PC came with the XP software on it and I don't know if I could reinstall it.

I appreciate your help in this matter very much, btw.

Well if the reg edit doesn't work i guess a fresh xp would, that is all i was thinking. But from the sound of it some people don't have this problem at all.

I do know that party also puts an ID code in other places on your pc apart from the registry, but where and how i do not know.

Another option is to mirror the hard drive of the clean pc and save the mirror image as back up. Then install party, when finished restore the backed up mirror image, so essentially you have a clean pc again.

cheers

it's all about your sign up CODE. find a new affiliate and use the right CODE and you will be fine. if you do not enter any codes, she will not be signed up under any affiliates. the only way she'll get stuck with your affialite is if you enter your affiliate's code for her.

Thanks, it was stated to me by one affiliate that this is true.

They said that all "codes" will override any affiliate link that you may have used.
