Same money, more pissed-couple hands.
Playing in sets of fours, does anybody else get a lot more pissed off busting in the first three and winning the last one rather than taking a 2nd and 3rd. I feel a lot worse getting 1 1st after busting in 3.
For the hands, these are 215's. I will give my opinions after. ***** Hand History for Game 2623722193 ***** 200/400 TOURNEY TEXAS HOLD'EM GAME TABLE (NL) (TOURNAMENT 15296733) - TUE AUG 30 13:25:24 EDT 2005 Table Table 17029 (Real Money) -- Seat 8 is the button Total number of players : 4 Seat 4: fiVph (2635) Seat 7: JoeBad2005 (1970) Seat 8: TEPop84 (2735) Seat 9: Pdoodle (2660) Pdoodle posts small blind (100) fiVph posts big blind (200) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to TEPop84 [ As, Jd ] JoeBad2005 folds. Re: Same money, more pissed-couple hands.
Not knowing much about the $215 players,
Without a good read, I'm folding the 1st hand. I like the 2nd hand. |

Re: Same money, more pissed-couple hands.
fold hand one to the reraise
I'm surprised that SNGPT says that open pushing from the button against slightly loose blinds (66+,Ats+,AJo) is -EV Second one I fold preflop. I'm curious to hear more about that one. Of course having called you need to push that flop. |

I felt like AJ was way ahead here, but I don't know how low I would go. I don't know if I would call with ATo. Anyways, somehow I still snuck into the money with only 100 left here. |

Re: Same money, more pissed-couple hands.
Nick,
Ever limp the AJ hand? I've been limping in bubble spots with >10BB effective stacks with good, but not great hands. (defined as those I dont want to be all-in with PF) Is it possible that aggressive, thinking opponents are more afraid to come over the top of a limp than a raise? |
