My friend just showed me his PT stats, holy [censored]
For the last week his stats were:
Limit: $2/$4 Party Hands played: 2835 Amount Won: $204.25 BB/100 Won: 1.80 Total Rake: $179.50 WTF? Someone explain this to me please. Was the $204 he made AFTER rake has been deducted? If not, did he just play an entire week at a winrate of 1.8 BB/100 hands for $25? Something seems seriously wrong here. |

Yes, he made 204 and paid 180 in rake. ie, rakeless he would have made 390

Make sure these weren't jackpot tables, PT includes the drop as rake, when it's more of a sidebet (when it's +EV to be playing these)

You should see numbers in $1/2 where the rake is REALLY bad.
Rake in 2/4 is about .95/1 Every doller you win you pay .95 cents. IN 1/2 its 1.34/1. It's the problem with only being 1.8BB/100 For instance - My latest run in $2/4 is 1400 hands at 9.87BB/100 (I've been hot you might say) I've won $565 and rake has taken only %125 Remember - it's MUCH worse in a REAL casino! isn't that just rake paid altogether and not out of pots won? [/ QUOTE ] Im pretty sure this is not true, though Im not 100% sure. I believe that PT calculates the rake you drop on your winning pots. But, it you are speaking in terms of rakeback, then yes, it is the total rake. |
