Modern Amusement is the sh!t. Nice choice, Mason.

[/ QUOTE ]

One of my favorite things about it it is that it hasn't made it's way to the east coast really. I have some of their stuff from when I took a trip to LA and it's nice to know that I'll pretty much never run into anyone with one of those shirts on here in DC.

[/ QUOTE ]
I agree. It's still not very popular here either. They had a store open up in Hollywood and it closed pretty fast. Not sure what happened, but they only have small spots at Urban and one Macy's here in LA.

[/ QUOTE ]

They are an LA company, correct?

I got one shirt at Fred Segal and a sweater and the shirt I posted in this thread at some small boutique. I'm surprised they're not doing better out there. I guess those birds are just tough to pull off.

[/ QUOTE ]
Not sure where they are based, but I just checked the store locator on their site and they seem to be in a lot of Nordstroms on the East coast.

[/ QUOTE ]

They haven't opened a retail outlet yet, but they are opening "store within a store" boutiques in Nordstroms. I am trying to gain them as a client in my magazine, hence my familiarity with the brand.

Its daring, wont be that common even though its BR.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like that jacket but I don't think someone who's asking the internet what to buy at BR could pull it off.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not asking b/c I need to, I'm just trying to give the thread a little spice. I'm not sure what you mean by "on the internet," I could've just as easily asked on the phone or in person, but the thread presented itself, and I received the card in the mail tonite.

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't realize you guys knew each other in a non 2p2 sense. No malice intended.

[/ QUOTE ]

I never thought there was malice, we cool!

All these blazers meh. KY is 2-3 years behind the West Coast in trends. I hope blazers get lost on their way.

T-Shirt, Threadless

Velvet Blazer, 7 For All Mankind

Jeans, Earnest Sewn

Shoes, New Balance

Watch, Nixon

Holla

I love the Nixon watch, its fun and walnut-retro. The blazer is teh gay. Reminds me of Dior for men.... not sexy. NBs are just not cutting edge enough, from your other choices I know you can do better.

6.5 on the *TT* sliding scale.

Obviously I can only support causes represented by brown or beige rubber bracelets with that outfit. Duh.
