Toronto 2+2 game

Anyone here from Toronto and surrounding area? I am willing to host a 2+2 game night with limits of 2-4 up to 15-30 or NL tourney action at my home - we can decide specifics once we know how many people are interested. I'm not looking to make any rake of this event, just get a few 2+2'ers together and away from their PC's long enough to have a few drinks and play a few hands.

So, if you dread the drive out to Rama and are willing to make it out to Maple (Canada's Wonderland area), let me know which weekends work best for you and I'll get the ball rolling.

About 2 weeks from now sounds about right. Say mid May? I'll wait till there are 5-10 responses here (seems like this isn't the most visited area of 2+2...) before setting a concrete date.

If anyone wants to bring a friend or two to play, I can accomodate. My poker table fits 6 comfortably (8 person table) - but I can easily bring some extra tables if the event balloons (space wise, I can fit 25-35 players - if enough locals show interest, I'll be more than happy to accomodate).

I'd love to play, but I'd lose my shirt against 2+2ers at these 'high' stakes [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

Wow nobody who has replied has ever posted in any of the strategy. forums that i can recall.

Either way, I'd be glad to play, as I'm sure would kgrad5, gamblore99, davidross, razor, Diplomat, and other mh/ss/ssnl regulars.

I'd prefer smallstakes limit as i can lag it up hard and get trashed. if you want a serious game, 15-30 and up is best.

I suggest you post this in the nvg forum as well.

I also think i play with aviraptor at the Unit.
